Day 1: Cairo - Friday
- Meet and assist at Cairo International Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in.
- Relax and enjoy a free day in Cairo
- Overnight in Cairo at the InterContinental CityStars Hotel (adjacent to Egypt's largest retail and entertainment complex giving you access to over 640 stores. Only 7 minutes from the airport).
Day 2: Cairo - Saturday
- Breakfast (full buffet)
- Meet with your tour guide to start a full day tour visiting the Memphis, Sakkara, Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx.
- Overnight in Cairo at the InterContinental CityStars Hotel
- Optional Extra
  Sound & Light at Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx for 2 hours starting at 6h30 (ZAR 360.00)
Day 3: Cairo - Sunday
- Breakfast (full buffet)
- Meet with your tour guide to start a full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum, Islamic Cairo, Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, and the Khan El-Khalil Bazaars.
- Overnight in Cairo at the InterContinental CityStars Hotel
Day 4: Cairo/Abu Simbel - Monday (Lake Nasser Cruise 1st Day)
- Transfer to Cairo Domestic Airport for flight to Abu Simbel Airport
- Arrive Abu Simbel and transfer to your M/S Eugenie Cruise Boat for embarkation on a 4 Nights / 5 Days Lake Nasser Cruise.
- Lunch on board. Visit Abu Simbel. A welcome cocktail will be served. Sound & Light show at Abu Simbel temples (non-compulsory, ticket not included). Candlelight dinner on board.
Day 5: Abu Simbel/Kasr lbrim -Tuesday (Lake Nasser Cruise 2nd Day)
- Those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise at Abu Simbel, may enjoy an early morning visit to the temples (entrance ticket is not included).
- Morning at leisure. Lunch will be served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim.
- Arrival at Kasr Ibrim. Tour conducted from the ship's sundeck as entrance to the site is not permitted.
- Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6: Kasr lbrim/Amada/Wadi El Seboua -Wednesday (Lake Nasser Cruise 3rd Day)
- Breakfast on board
- Sailing to Amada.
- Morning visit to the temple of Amada and Derr as well as the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia.
- Lunch will be served while sailing to Wadi El Seboua.
- Afternoon visit to Wadi El Seboua, the temple of Dakka and temple of Meharakka.
- Dinner and overnight aboard at Wadi El Seboua.
Day 7: Wadi El Seboua /Aswan -Thursday (Lake Nasser Cruise 4th Day)
- Breakfast on board.
- Sail to Aswan and cocktail while crossing of the Tropic of Cancer.
- Lunch served on board.
- Visit the Kalabsha temple, Beit El Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi.
- Dinner and overnight aboard in Aswan.
Day 8: Aswan - Friday (Lake Nasser Cruise 5th Day)
- After breakfast, disembarkation
- Day 8: Aswan- Friday (Nile Cruise 1st Day) M/S Royal Ruby or similar a three-nights/four days cruise from 25th February to the 28th February 2011, on F.B Basis (including, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner- commencing with Lunch on the 1st day and ending with Breakfast on the final day).
- Embarkation before Lunch
- Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk (Granite Quarries) and the Temple of Philae
- Lunch on board.
- View the Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum from your cruise boat.
- Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan.
- Optional Extra In the afternoon sail on a motor boat and visit Kitchener Island Botanical Gardens (ZAR 90.00) and visit the Nubian Village by motor boat (ZAR 360.00)
Day 9: Aswan/Kom Ombo/Edfu - Saturday (Nile Cruise 2nd Day) Breakfast on board.
- Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the two Gods; Sobek and Haroeris
- Lunch on board.
- Sail to Edfu
- Enjoy afternoon tea on deck
- Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu
Day 10: Edfu/Esna/Luxor - Sunday (Nile Cruise 3rd Day)
- Breakfast on board
- Visit the Temple of Horus one of the most complete architectures in Egypt dedicated for God Horus son of Osiris.
- After our visit we sail to Esna and you will pass the Lock as we sail towards Luxor.
- Lunch on board.
- Enjoy dinner on board followed by a Belly Dancer or Nubian Show in the lounge.
- Overnight in Luxor
Day 11: Luxor - Monday (Nile Cruise 4th Day)
- Breakfast on board
- Disembarkation after breakfast.
- A full day, sightseeing tour starting with a visit to the West Bank to visit the temple complex of Medinat Habu, with its great temple of Ramses 111, the most dominant feature here and the most magnificent tombs of the nobles. Worth seeing as it is personally decorated.
- Continue your tour to visit the Valley of Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and Colossi of Memnon.
- At the end of the day we will transfer to our Hotel where you will be staying for the two nights. (The Hotel Sheraton on a B.B Basis)
Day 12: Luxor - Tuesday
- Breakfast (full buffet)
- After breakfast you will take a drive from Luxor, visit the beautiful Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the Goddess of Love, Hathor. Striking bas-reliefs of Cleopatra and her son Caesarion, the only temple in Egypt to portray this famous queen and her son. Travel by air-conditioned bus, through the lush countryside and villages to visit Abydos, the renowned Temple of Seti 1. You will see the famed "Tablet of Abydos," which lists 76 Egyptian Kings in a chronological order.
- Overnight in Luxor
Day 13: Luxor/Cairo - Wednesday
- Breakfast (full buffet)
- Visit the East Bank of Luxor to visit Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, followed by the Luxor Museum. Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo you will be met by our representative and you will then be transferred to your InterContinental Cairo Citystars Hotel for the night on a B.B Basis
Day 14: Cairo - Thursday
- Breakfast (full buffet)
- Free day in Cairo and late check out 17h00
- Our representative will transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight home.
Day 15: Johannesburg - Friday
- Arrive at OR Tambo International
- A great tour ends!
