Sacred Earth Retreat in Mexico and Gautemale

Mexico & Gautamale 1-18 February 2011
TRAVEL TO A PLACE OF PEACE:
Teotihuacan Pyramids, Palenque Waterfalls, Tikal & Uxmal Ruins

Awe - inspiring visits to the Peace Temples of the ancient Mayans, including the ruins of TIKAL Guatemale, UXMAL Mexico - called the place of an Eternal Moon, the breath taking waterfalls of PALENQUE Mexico and the massive Aztec pyramid complex of TEOTIHUACAN Mexico - plus an opportunity to spend a day with a respected Mayan shaman and visionary in the lead up to 2012.

A journey into the Soul of the Mayan and Aztec civilisations that you will never forget!

The Trip

The trip to Mexico and Guatemale will focus on four main temples:

The pyramid complex of Teotihuacan, north of Mexico City, that holds a strong Aztec heritage. Here you will see and experience the power of the Temples of the Sun and the Moon.

Palenque ruins and its nearby waterfalls of Misol Ha and Aguas Azul. Palenque is said to be central in the spiral of the feminine earth grid that is held in South America with the masculine grid anchored in Egypt. These Mayan ruins are incredibly beautiful and play a significant role in the maintenance of the feminine energy for our planet. Much visited by spiritual groups from all over the world, it is something worth seeing and experiencing… as are the pure waters of the magnificent waterfalls and waterways of Misol Ha and Aguas Azul.

The Mayan ruins of Tikal in Tikal National Park, Guatemale, is probably a place where I could live full time! Undisturbed by many tourists, it is one of the hidden treasures of the world and has a purity of energy that is just like that of Machu Picchu in Peru. No wonder that the feminine grid that splits at Palenque goes through Tikal and then moves further down through Machu Picchu and then Easter Island. Its magnificence is beyond words. You will love it.

Uxmal Ruins in the Yucatan part of Mexico carries a peace that is tangible, even by just thinking about it. It has a serenity and telepathic quality that is hard to explain. The Pyramid of the Magician is an awesome feature of the ruins that holds many mysteries to uncover. Linked to the crystal skulls, it is a place that is very much working with the future. Interestingly, UXMAL spelled UCMUL by the Maya means "ETERNAL MOON". We will also have an opportunity at UXMAL to spend a day with a much respected Mayan shaman, elder Hunbatz Men.

Hunbatz Men is a Mayan elder who is a Shaman and teacher of traditional Mayan wisdom and teachings handed down from generations of Mayan elders to him. He has committed his life to transmitting the sacred teachings that he holds to others who have an interest in these teachings. He truly believes that he can benefit modern man by helping him understand the wisdom that the teachings of the Mayans have to share with him. He recognizes that many were Mayans in past lives and they are returning to reclaim their wisdom teachings, their knowledge teachings from the past. An ancient Mayan greeting he shares with his students is "In Lak'ech, I am you, and You are me or I am another yourself." He believes that the way to help Mother Earth and her children return to a state of harmony is to raise the consciousness of Earth's children once again to that of Cosmic Consciousness.

Timing

The dates of the trip has been given under guidance as an auspicious time to go, both energetically and also taking into account the climate, something that is always important to consider when travelling in that part of the world. February is winter in Central America and so much cooler than later on in the year.

It also falls within a new moon and therefore very powerful in terms of setting in motion, a new energy or direction.

Read the full details of the journey in the New Moon Magazine, New Moon.
